Mandy Gagel

Mandy Gagel is the Project Manager for the Michigan Science and Technology Policy Fellowship Program. In this position, Mandy manages the development of a fellowship program that trains PhD-level scientists and engineers in the Michigan state policy process to support the development of rigorous, evidence-based policy decisions. Prior to joining STPP, Mandy worked as a managing editor at higher education publishing companies and at university publishing projects at UC-Berkeley and the University of Virginia. Mandy received her Ph.D. in Editorial Studies and Scholarly Publishing at Boston University, her M.A. in Digital Humanities at Loyola University, Chicago, and a B.S. in Journalism at Ohio University.
