Julie Berson Grand

Julie Berson Grand is the Education Manager for the Science, Technology, and Public Policy (STPP) program. In this position, Julie provides management and oversight of STPP’s existing educational programs and oversees the development of new educational opportunities for a wide range of audiences. Prior to joining STPP, Julie worked as a pre-health academic advisor, lecturer in health policy, and health educator. She also served for eight years on the Ann Arbor City Council, focusing on policies related to housing, land use, and organizational health. Julie received her Ph.D. in Health Services Organization & Policy and her M.P.H. in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan, as well as an A.B. in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College.
