Research Analyst

Amanda Domingues is the Research Analyst for the Science, Technology, and Public Policy (STPP) program’s Propelling Original Data Sciences grant. This project— funded by the Michigan Institute for Data & AI in Society— aims to advance knowledge toward a responsible, more socially equitable, and just AI research ecosystem. In this role, Amanda will help develop and evaluate the University-Based Equity-Centered (UBEC) approach, a new framework to the innovation lifecycle that centers the knowledge and needs of marginalized communities and incorporates expertise across academic disciplines.  

Amanda has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and is finishing a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Studies at Cornell University.
