Air Quality and Truck Traffic
The eastside of Detroit is over-burdened with multiple sources of air pollution which has a negative impact on our community's health. Through Project HEARD (Health Equity via Advocacy for Resources in Detroit), the Eastside Community Network's Eastside Climate Action Coalition (ECAC) is organizing around policies to address health and safety concerns posed by semi-truck traffic.
STPP collaborated with Eastside Community Network (ECN) on a project addressing this problem. The resulting policy brief was written by ECN.
