STPP is excited to welcome Ford School alumnus and NVIDIA's Director of Policy Marketing, Brian Wesolowski (MPA '13) to campus for a informal morning of coffee and conversation. Brian will share his diverse career path in policy communication, spanning government, nonprofit, and industry.
From the speaker's bio:
Brian Wesolowski is a technology policy communicator and strategist with deep experience shaping public narratives around emerging technologies, AI, and digital governance. As Director of Policy Marketing at NVIDIA, he leads efforts to translate complex technical innovation into clear, compelling stories that resonate with policymakers, industry leaders, and global stakeholders.
Before joining NVIDIA, Brian served on Microsoft's Public Affairs team, where he helped define and amplify the company's responsible AI agenda and the work of the AI for Good Lab. His career spans senior leadership roles across advocacy, nonprofit, and government, including serving as Vice President of External Affairs at the Center for Democracy & Technology and Communications Director for Giffords. Earlier, he led communications for Qatar's national technology and telecommunications regulator, managing global campaigns and policy initiatives across cybersecurity, privacy, IP, and internet governance.
He holds a Master's in Public Affairs from the University of Michigan and a BA in Leadership Studies and Communications from the University of Richmond.
