InSPIRE organizers would like to welcome you to the inaugural meeting of the Interdisciplinary Science and Policy Initiative for Research Engagement. InSPIRE is a new workshop that brings together graduate students and postdoctoral to discuss policy issues, share research, gain interdisciplinary perspectives, and network with experts in a wide range of science and policy fields.

Wednesday, Oct. 3 @ 6PM (following Tom Clynes lecture)
1220 Weill Hall
Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy
735 S. State Street
Ann Arbor, MI

Activities for this group will include bi-monthly meetings, social events, student research presentations/discussions, interacting with invited speakers, book club discussion, and more. Our schedule can be found on our website (https://sites.google.com/a/umich.edu/inspire/).

We hope that you will join us and invite colleagues in your own and other programs to participate as well. Anyone interested in assisting with organization or topic scheduling for the workshop should email InSPIRE’s coordinators (Hua Cai, caih@umich.edu; Ethan Hyland, hylande@umich.edu).
